Socialist Modernism in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, 1955–1989/91 – 3rd edition
by B.A.C.U. Association and Dumitru Rusu
The third edition of the B.A.C.U. photo album on Romania and the Republic of Moldova presents the landmarks of socialist modernist architecture in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. A map at the beginning of the book shows the location of every building.
In colour photographs, the B.A.C.U. Association explains the socialist modernist tendencies of the period and presents a functional image of each building and its often original elements, which synthesise local culture and traditions, together with its current state of conservation.
